A summary of each of the main benefits available to Centaur employees is shown below:

Pension

After 3 months of service with Centaur, employees are eligible to join our pension scheme and make contributions into personal pension funds - you contribute 3% and Centaur will contribute 5%.

Life Assurance

Centaur has a life assurance scheme to protect your dependants in the event of your death in service. Employees can be automatically enrolled in the scheme after 6 months continuous service.

Income Protection Policy

Employees with more than two years’ service who, at the end of six months’ continuous absence, are unable to undertake their normal duties due to illness or injury, may be eligible to claim 50% of basic salary.

Holiday

We offer annual entitlement of 25 days leave, plus public holidays to all new employees. In addition, employee loyalty is rewarded for every year of service with an extra 1 day holiday entitlement, up to a maximum of 30 days.

Family

Centaur offers an enhanced Maternity package, in excess of the statutory minimum, to eligible employees. We also offer an enhanced Paternity Leave package, adoption leave and maternity buddies scheme to eligible employees.

Office

In our WeWork office, tea and coffee is provided by the in-house barista as well as other benefits of working in WeWork’s London flagship office.

Season Ticket Loan

To help employees’ cashflow, Centaur offers interest free loans for annual season tickets that are repayable monthly through payroll.

Cycle to Work

Our Cycle to Work scheme offers a tax efficient loan for employees to buy a bike and/or equipment.

Share Incentive Plan (SIP)

After 3 months’ service, Centaur offers a Government approved SIP to enable employees to purchase Centaur Shares in a tax efficient way. Centaur currently rewards one “Matching Share” for every two “Partnership Shares” purchased, for a three year period.

Volunteering

All Centaur employees can take one paid day away from their day job each year to spend time in the community supporting a local charity.

Give as you earn

Give as you earn is a tax efficient way to donate from your salary to a chosen charity each month. Centaur will then match any donations up to the value of £5 pm.
