JOB PURPOSE

The Director of New Business for Econsultancy Learn leads the identification and qualification of large pieces of major new business. This role requires a high level of proactivity to identify, nurture and mine new business opportunities through personal network, Xeim resources and the development of a hard-working and effective client database and leads strategy. The role is the front-end of the funnel for all new business leads from new clients. The successful candidate will ensure our approach to new business meets the highest standards of operational discipline & delivery while exceeding all commercial and financial goals. The role is expected to incorporate time-spent outside of traditional working hours networking, attending and speaking at events, responding and amplifying across social media and earned media.

Use sound judgement to deliver the Econsultancy Learn 2020 New Business Budget through compelling and motivating proposals and presentations to inspire the prospect-pool and meet & exceed agreed strategy and objectives.

Identify and win new business
Demonstrate high proficiency and success in identifying new business leads for Econsultancy, and subsequently play a key role in winning business from these clients.

Deliver (and exceed) the 2020 Budget for new business

PRIMARY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS 

Financial delivery of 2020 Budget

New Business: Highly visible and proactive in developing and winning new business, with a clear role in contributing to the Econsultancy Learn target. Identifying and targeting indirect reports with financial KPIs where relevant that must be met to deliver the 2020 Budget.

Marketing: Play an active and proactive role in supporting the Econsultancy and Xeim Marketing teams to maximise every earned and owned opportunity to drive the new business (and existing business) pipeline.

Leadership: Lead by example & be known as the leader of New Business for Econsultancy Learn within the business.

Delivery: Ensure new business proposals and presentations are written and delivered with excellence every time. Excellent powerpoint and presentation skills are expected.

Management: Accountable for overall smooth-running of Econsultancy Learn’s new business strategy, ensuring regular weekly status and finance meetings are happening, regular 1:1’s are in place, Engage is deployed and appraisals are happening.

Xeim collaboration: Strong demonstration of collaboration with the wider Econsultancy, Xeim Advise and Xeim teams.

Senior level visibility: Positive feedback and recognition from Centaur Exco of your role and positive effect on the overall business.
