Centaur Media’s Media and Events division landed three trophies at last night’s prestigious PPA Awards which recognise excellence across the publishing industry.
Marketing Week’s Mini MBA took home “Best B2B Digital Innovation.” The Festival of Marketing won “Event of the Year”, and, Cat Griffiths, Editor, The Lawyer, was named “Editor of the Year, Business Media”.
Cat Griffiths’ award for Editor of the Year, The Lawyer, came in recognition that her editorial direction has transformed the brand and is driving further content investment.
The Festival of Marketing was rewarded for depth and scale of production; diversity and variety of content; and customer engagement.
The Marketing Week Mini MBA won by demonstrating digital innovation, collaboration with key columnist Mark Ritson and the ability to unlock new, highly profitable revenue streams.
Centaur faced steep competition on the night from the amongst others, UBM, BMJ Publishing, EMAP/Metropolis and Immediate Media.
With a single win last year, The Lawyer “Brand of the Year, Business Media”, Centaur has increased the haul of trophies to three.
