My job and what I do
I am a Direct Marketing Manager (DMM) on SME. My role is to manage a portfolio of anywhere between 25-30 SME clients. This involves meeting the clients at the very start of their journey with MarketMakers, understanding their business goals and working with them to create a plan, I then deliver the activity by managing the team internally from an operational level focusing on data, dialler and the pitch. Alongside managing the performance of the campaign I build relationships with my clients to ensure a long-term partnership is created and we are able to become a valuable lead source for the client.
Why did I join MarketMakers?
I joined MarketMakers in October 2019. The culture, development and autonomy over my role were a few of the many reasons I decided to move from London and join the team. I am challenged daily in a good way and have learnt an array of new skills that I add to regularly. MarketMakers is supportive of my development and eager to see all progress through the ranks.
What do I love about my job ?
The opportunity to progress at MarketMakers is fantastic. There are multiple avenues you can chose to pursue and clear steps to achieve it. My team and the people I work alongside make day-to-day work enjoyable. When faced with challenges, the solution-driven and proactive attitude of everyone around me makes challenges easily overcome and solved. I have found friends and a healthy work/life balance in this company. Management is supportive, understanding and motivating; I feel listened too and this is very important for me.
