Centaur Media seeks a Reporter to cover financial and policy news in the alternative energy sector for its Clean Energy Pipeline news and financial data service ( cleanenergypipeline.com ). Our news team requires an enthusiastic, diligent and hard-working news reporter with an interest in the financial and renewable energy sectors who wants to develop their skills in online journalism. You will cover M&A, VC/PE, funds, project and asset finance, public markets and policy. The role would suit a recent graduate looking to break into journalism. Journalism training and/or relevant experience would be an advantage. Clean Energy Pipeline is the leading independent source of news, data and analytics about the Clean Energy and renewables sector. Account Manager - Econsultancy

  Role Context: Brands, Technology Vendors and Media Agencies are significantly increasing their investments in Digital, and Econsultancy is ideally placed to capture the revenue opportunities arising in this fast moving sector Role Purpose: As an Enterprise Renewals Account Manager, the purpose of the post is to build strong and enduring relationships with our Enterprise client base, particularly across the Charity, Education and Manufacturing sectors, and to devise and execute ‘customer success plans’ to ensure your client base derives maximum ROI from the subscription. Securing renewals and upgrading these accounts to higher yield subscriptions with additional user licences and subscriber benefits will contribute significantly to the ambitious growth the Econsultancy subscription sales team is aiming for in 2017. As an Account Manager, the post holder should be flexible to generate revenue from where the revenue opportunity is greatest. There may be a requirement in future for Account Manager post- holders focused Enterprise renewals to drive subscription revenue from different sources appropriate to their skillset (from new business or cross-selling other Econsultancy services to existing Enterprise Accounts, for example).   Main Responsibilities: Develop relationships with clients throughout the subscription period and - through a consultative sales approach - transition as many as possible to higher-yield subscription packages. Business Development Manager - Festival of Marketing and Marketing Week Live

Marketing Week Live is the leading marketing exhibition in the industry, championing supplier expertise to enable marketers to solve their immediate tech, campaign, tactical and strategic challenges, all delivered in an electric, live environment. Key Responsibilities / Duties You are responsible for ensuring maximum coverage for the accounts/sectors designated to you, and maximising market share and revenue from these accounts through sponsorship and partnerships at the Festival of Marketing and Marketing Week Live, plus any additional campaigns you might work on for your clients across the portfolio. Personal Sales Activity You are expected to demonstrate sufficient effective output to cover your client base (arranging meetings, account managing, working to get new business etc.) – to equate to a pre-determined number of positive conversations each week/month/quarter as agreed with your direct line manager. Suggested levels of output in order to achieve your targets are: 50+ weekly effective actions. An effective action is classified as a phone call with a client where business is discussed, a proposal, and a client meeting. This is an average of 10 per day as a minimum. You are to attend industry events as and when relevant – these may be in the day or in the evening. Creative Solutions Group Editor

Creative Solutions Group Editor   The position of Creative Solutions Group Editor has responsibility for leading Centaur Financials creative solutions process; working alongside the commercial team to generate revenue from cross-media, client-led content projects with a focus on the portfolio’s top 40 clients. The Group Editor will be required to lead the portfolio’s revenue growth through effective relationships with clients, agencies, internal teams and third party contacts and through initiating, presenting and overseeing the implementation of creative solutions partnerships such as content hubs, microsites, roundtables, webinars, supplements, research reports, whitepapers and other client-led content. Treasury Assistant 6 month fixed term contract

Purpose of the Role The individual will be part of the Group’s Treasury Team to ensure timely and accurate posting of cash transactions, completion of all bank and control account reconciliations, prompt resolution of queries from the Business and other Finance colleagues plus maintenance of the Group’s cash and bank controls. The individual will also be involved in improving processes and controls within Treasury. Digital Project Manager

Managing briefs, stakeholder involvement, development, testing and release of all projects. You will work alongside the Digital Ops Director and other members of the Project Management team to ensure all design and development work meets project briefs on specification as well as staying on budget and on time. With a focus on process, deliverables and communication you should be passionate, driven and committed to the product roadmaps of each brand/portfolio. You will be open-minded and proactive always forward-thinking and ahead of the curve with the projects development achieving a seamless transition for new functionality. The ability to work under pressure – multi-tasking and managing varied workloads and prioritising accordingly is an integral part of this busy role.   Key Accountabilities/ACTIVITES: Managing the communication bridge between technical development and brand/portfolio teams. Gathering requirements from key stakeholders ensuring any agreed project specifications are understood, prioritised and well communicated ahead of design and build stages – including stakeholder presentations, creating and updating Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), managing Gantt charts and prioritising workloads/agendas. Working with the design/UX team, developer teams and other project/product managers to ensure that workflow, process and usability remain at the forefront of builds while remaining within project parameters (function, time & cost). Liaise with brand/portfolio teams assisting and managing workflow on any deliverables required for implementation. Where projects have been budgeted ensure that delivery is within estimated costs and communicate any variations at the earliest opportunity. Taking specific note of the differences between CAPEX and OPEX and raising with the correct financial lead where necessary. Run or take part in relevant developer/tech stand-ups as required. Carry out risk assessment and escalate problems to Digital Ops Director as early as possible. Ensure all aims of the project are met: on specification, on time and on budget – and clearly communicate otherwise. Training of portfolio/brand teams in use of any new technology or functionality. Managing relationships and taking ownership of any new technology or 3 rd Party platform until implementation is complete and moved into ‘business as usual’ stage. They will ensure that all speaker related information, both editorial and sponsor, is secured and published on schedule in order to allow other departments to maximise revenue generation. This position is part of the Events department within the Operations team in Business Publishing.   Purpose of Role   The job holder is responsible for supporting the Event Manager in the planning and delivery of industry-leading awards ceremonies, judging processes, meetings, conferences, parties and bespoke events. Conference Manager - Financial Services Portfolio

As Events Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for driving the portfolio of conferences for Centaur Financial. The portfolio consists of around 8 events each year and is a high priority growth area for the business. As an experienced conference producer you will develop strategy for each event and drive profitable growth and create sustainable revenue streams. You will work across editorial, sales and marketing teams to ensure effective collaboration to deliver P&L goals. You will directly manage 1-2 Conference Producers and work with other freelance and internal Producers as necessary to deliver projects to time.   Key Accountabilities:   Portfolio Development – topic generation to deliver a forward schedule of commercially viable topics, competitive event tracking, annual strategy development and budget setting Commercial Modelling – to create events modelling and pricing around delegate places, table sales and sponsorship; including the creation of innovative and brand-connected sponsorship packages Schedule Management – to manage production schedule and timings to ensure optimum leadtime for both sales and marketing Budget Management – to have a solid understanding of the portfolio budget and individual event budgets to be able to track delivery of revenue and profit Content Creation – to manage Conference Producers on projects to fulfill the needs of the portfolio, ensuring high quality content delivery across all events, as well as engaging with and optimizing editorial input Project Meetings – to run regular project meetings around key brands and/or events to create team engagement and manage events to time and budget Conference Best Practice – to collaborate with sales and marketing teams on best practice around conference process and delivery to meet P&L Customer Strategy – to input into broader strategies to develop customer loyalty and retention through community building activities and connection to the brand Onsite Experience – to ensure meticulous on-site execution of conferences to exceptional standards, delivering a memorable experience Processes – to input into and/or implement processes to ensure seamless and efficient project working across teams Brand Ambassador – representative for Centaur brands at all times, through telephone and face to face meetings as well as internal meetings   Behaviours and Knowledge:   The ideal candidate will be a proven leader in events development and delivery, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience of conference production. The candidate will have a proven track record to deliver event revenue, content and audience goals. Ideally the candidate will have experience of recruiting and managing conference production teams.   The candidate will have a high level of commercial awareness and be target and deadline driven. They will have intellectual curiosity and an enormous capacity to learn and absorb information.
